NEW ALBANY - New Albany senior quarterback Tyler Basil connected on 12 of 13 passes for 216 yards and four touchdowns as the Bulldogs cruised past the Ripley Tigers 49-0. The Bulldogs scored on seven consecutive possessions.
"New Albany will be the best team we'll see all year," said Ripley coach Grady McCluskey. "They have everything you need, special teams, quarterback play, running backs, receivers, a good defense and a strong offensive line. They're the real deal."
New Albany improved to 2-0, while Ripley fell to 1-1.
