TIPPAH COUNTY — As high school basketball season hits the home stretch, division tournaments begin Monday for most Tippah County schools.

As of Thursday afternoon, all brackets were not complete. Below is the complete schedule of the Division 1-3A tournament involving Ripley High School.

Partial schedules for Division 2-1A (Blue Mountain), Division 1-1A (Pine Grove, Falkner), and Division 1-2A (Walnut) are listed as well.

DIVISION 1-3A…The Ripley Lady Tigers and Tigers earned a No. 2 seed and a first round bye in the Division 1-3A tournament being held at Northeast Mississippi Community College in Booneville.

The Lady Tigers will play Thursday, Feb. 11 at 4 p.m. They face the winner of Kossuth vs. Corinth. The winner advances to the championship game slated for Friday, Feb. 12 at 7p.m. Should the Lady Tigers lose, they will play in the third place game, Friday at 4 p.m.

The Ripley Tigers will play Thursday, Feb. 11 at 8:30 p.m. They face the winner of Booneville vs. Alcorn Central. The winner advances to the championship game slated for Friday, Feb. 12 at 8:30 p.m. Should the Tigers lose, they advance to the third place game, Friday at 5:30 p.m.

DIVISION 2-1A…The Division 2-1A tournament will be hosted by West Union High School. The Blue Mountain Lady Cougars play Myrtle Monday at 6p.m. The Cougars face Potts Camp at 7:30 p.m.

DIVISION 1-1A…The Division 1-1A tournament is being hosted by Falkner High School. The tournament begins Tuesday, Feb. 9. The Falkner Lady Eagles/Eagles and the Pine Grove Lady Panthers/Panthers are included in the tournament.

DIVISION 1-2A…The Division 1-2A tournament will be hosted by Mantachie High School. The Walnut Lady Wildcats begin tournament play Tuesday, Feb. 9 at 5:30 against Mantachie. The Walnut Wildcats play New Site Tuesday at 7 p.m.
