Ford's Big Night
Every time Vardaman's Kelsey Nelson hit a big shot, Amory's Keonna Ford had an answer. The two matched 3-pointers to tie the game at 47 with 2 minutes, 4 seconds to play. Ford, who finished with a game-high 29 points, then hit four free throws down the stretch and added a layup after a steal to seal the win at 55-50 with 13.5 seconds to play.
"We didn't play smart but because of some hustle plays came out with the win," said Amory coach Louie Riddick, whose team has won four games in a row.

Taylor Scott had 12 points, one of four Lady Tigers in double figures and Nettleton (8-2) beat Falkner 56-32. Camry Jones, Memory Shumpert and Shauntina Collier had 10 points apiece. Falkner got 13 points from Katie Hill, but fell to 2-4 on the season.
