A previously announced plan to use corrected ballots mailed over the weekend also has been scrapped, said TEPA attorney Brad Dillard.
Rather, he said, the board is expected to approve a plan for an entirely new election with new deadlines for mailing in votes.
“The idea is to scrap the first two sets of ballots, reset the deadlines and wait a week or two to resend a corrected ballot to all members with envelopes, stickers and pre-addressed envelopes,” Dillard said. “These will be mailed to all eligible voters.”
