Incumbent Ron Alexander was the only qualifier for District 5 for the North Tippah School Board. Tony Morrison was the sole qualifier for District 5 of the South Tippah School board. Incumbent South Tippah trustee Randy Jeter did not seek re-election.
The qualifying period opened Wednesday Aug. 5. The deadline was 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4.
School board districts are different from supervisor districts.
