FALKNER - The Falkner Eagles fell to Alcorn Central, 33-25, in the season-opener for both schools.

Quarterback Sam Lockhart and wide receiver Will Robertson hooked up for three first half touchdowns, and the Eagles took a 18-14 halftime lead.

Alcorn Central scored two touchdowns in the third quarter and a final score in the fourth. After a hot start, the Eagles found the end zone one time in the third quarter.
