South Tippah donations top $3,300

RIPLEY – The South Tippah School Board approved the following donations totaling over $3,300 to district schools during its meeting Monday night.

- To Ripley High School, from Alese Cooper/Girl Scouts, a defibrillator valued at $1,335.

- To Ripley High School, from Big M Transportation, a $500 donation to the golf team.

- To Ripley Middle School, from Carolina Accents, furniture valued at $348 for a reading area in a SPED class.

- To Ripley Middle School, from the Beta Club, Candygram fundraiser proceeds of $1112.36 for use in the Media Center.

- To Blue Mountain School from the BMC Commuter Club, $100 for 5th and 6th grade Accelerated Reading books.

- To Blue Mountain School, from Dale Andrews, $25 for an alumni scholarship.
