Ripley aldermen met on January 6th for their regular business meeting. Alderwoman Sherill McCoy was present at the meeting, as she recovers from medical problems. The aldermen approved their December 2008 minutes and the claims docket for 2008, approved an ordinance to change their meeting times, approved advertising to sell three surplus vehicles, purchased concrete barriers, appointed a Street Department superintendent and heard their financial report from Charles Davis of Lindsey, Davis and Associates.
